Dan White has spent the past 16+ years helping innovative technologies build market-share across the horticulture, nut, grain, and agro-input sectors in the US and emerging markets. He began his career working for a family orchard in southern Pennsylvania before spending most of his career across the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and sub-Saharan Africa.
Daniel Cavanaugh, Co-Founder & VP, Business Development

Daniel Cavanaugh has spent over 12 years in the commercial grain trading and food processing industry. Before co-founding Clean Crop, he served as an operations and strategy manager for Cargill and ADM subsidiaries in East Africa, and conducted consultancies for commercial agricultural operations and clients such as the World Bank in Africa and Asia.
Cody Vild, VP of Product
About
Cody Vild is an accomplished AgTech professional with a track record of 10+ years in the industry. He brings a wealth of experience across hardware and software product development, leading regulatory approval for edible coating technologies (at Apeel), and developing novel IP and products in predictive spoilage analytics. He has a PhD from the University of Michigan in Biological Chemistry.
Margaret Dixon, Operations Officer

Margaret brings nine years of experience scaling startup food and agriculture operations from the specialty coffee industry. Her work has focused on maximizing the regional, national, and global impact of partnerships between producers and major buyers in the United States. In her current role, she oversees financial, administrative, and logistical projects, with a focus on regulatory compliance, marketing, and fundraising. She holds a B.S. in Sustainable Food and Farming from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and believes that curiosity is the center of life.

Boone brings 6 years of professional experience in product development within the agriculture technology startup sector. His diverse background includes roles as a scientist, process engineer, project manager, and technical sales representative. He holds a B.S. in Molecular Genetics from the University of Vermont, where he gained hands-on experience in plant biology laboratories. Boone’s multidisciplinary experience equips him to effectively lead agriculture technology teams and projects to achieve successful outcomes.

Calvin brings a wealth of experience in agricultural research, commercial farming, and food manufacturing to Clean Crop. He has led field trials across the U.S., managed production greenhouses across Massachusetts, and is dedicated to advancing sustainable technology in food systems. He holds a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Cameron has a versatile background in R&D engineering, with experience spanning mechanical, electrical, and software work. He leverages his skills to design, test, and implement improvements to Clean Crop’s core technologies. Cameron holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Dominik Laszczkowski, Mechanical Engineer

Dominik has broad engineering experience spanning the prototype and product maturation life cycle. As one of Clean Crop’s earliest employees, he has played a key role in hardware development from R&D through commercialization, while also mentoring and guiding new engineers on the team. His expertise includes designing for functionality, reliability, survivability, and manufacturability, drawing on his background in robotics, machining, and automated systems. Dominik holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Dylan has over five years of hands-on experience helping startups in aerospace and agriculture technology develop process systems and workflows within bespoke manufacturing environments. He specializes in troubleshooting electro-mechanical hardware and software systems, particularly in high-voltage operating environments. A self-starter with a passion for mentoring, Dylan is dedicated to training the next generation of technicians and operators for each iteration of the Clean Crop hardware stack.

Erin is a problem solver with over four years of experience designing and delivering custom-built electro-mechanical hardware. Her background spans neuroscience, robotics, and augmented reality, bringing a unique interdisciplinary approach to her work. She holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and Human-Centered Design from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
Hannah Everhart, Biological Scientist

Hannah brings research experience in molecular genetics and microbiology, spanning gene expression in insect cell cultures to FDA-approved clinical trials. For the past three years, she has supported the scale-up of Clean Crop’s plant science operations. She is passionate about adaptability, precision, and increasing efficiency in lab techniques and processes, as well as mentoring the next generation of women in STEM. Hannah holds a B.S. in Biology from Clark University.
Laura Garcia, Process Technician
About
Laura brings five years of experience working in Springfield, MA, after immigrating from the Dominican Republic in 2015. After dedicating her career to supporting low-income families in navigating Federal and State assistance programs, Laura enrolled to pursue an Associate of Science in Computer Information Technology at Springfield Technical Community College, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2026. She joined Clean Crop full-time in Fall 2024 after being selected as the pilot candidate for the company’s first Process Technician Internship.
Michaela Elliott, QA/QC Officer

Michaela leverages her applied agricultural research, both in-field and in vitro, to oversee Quality Assurance and Quality Control for Clean Crop’s customer pilots and commercial operations. With over three years at Clean Crop, she has contributed to every aspect of the operation as an R&D and plasma lab scientist, managing in-house trials and supporting the initial launch of commercial operations. She holds a B.S. in Plant and Soil Sciences from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Shardul Sreekumar, Senior Process Engineer

Shardul has over 5 years of relevant experience in plasma science and engineering. In his role as Senior Process Engineer with the Clean Crop team, he designs and conducts experiments to develop advanced plasma systems for treating various seeds and food surfaces. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics, Robotics, and Automation Engineering from Acharya Institute of Technology and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan.
